Batch Import Accounts

Edited

Batch importing your customer accounts into Credit Pulse is the quickest way to get your portfolio live, enriched, and ready for monitoring. This guide covers the data we need, how the process works, and what you can expect once your import is complete.

What You Need Before You Start

We will require a spreadsheet of your existing customer accounts you would like added to your Credit Pulse portfolio.

Required Data Points. Below are the minimum fields we need to accurately match and enrich accounts:

  • Company Name

  • City

  • State

  • Country

  • Website (Optional, but helpful)

Here is an example of the format:

Company

City

State

Country

Website

Acme

Seattle

WA

USA

www.acme.com

If you have additional data columns like Assigned Credit Manager, Customer ID, Sales Rep, etc, feel free to include them for us to keep on file. You can discuss capabilities with your CSM during our onboarding process.

Step 1: Complete Your Spreadsheet

Open our Account Data Import spreadsheet template. You can download this as a CSV or excel file. Add the required data fields.

Tip: The cleaner the data, the smoother and faster the import.

Step 2: Send Your File to Our Support Team

Email your completed spreadsheet to support@creditpulse.com. If you have a large file or multiple tabs, include any instructions or clarifications in the email.

Step 3: Record Matching

Once your file is received, our team will match each company to its verified business record using our data providers and internal models. This ensures your portfolio starts with the most accurate foundation possible.

Step 4: QA Review

After matching, we perform a quality assessment to validate:

  • Match rate

  • Data depth

  • Data confidence

  • Potential gaps or duplicates

  • Accounts requiring manual review

Step 5: Receive Your Import Summary Report

You will receive a detailed report outlining:

  • Total accounts submitted

  • Successful matches

  • Partial matches

  • Unmatched accounts

  • Recommended fixes or follow-ups

You will have a chance to review the results and request updates before the data is pushed live into your environment.

Import Timeline

Batch imports typically take up to 14 days, depending on volume and data quality.
Most small to mid-sized portfolios are completed much faster, but we set this expectation so you have clarity and predictable timing.
